SUN RAY INVADER™
FZ-1 TARGET PROBE (Compatible with Fisher CZ model
detectors)
Sun Ray Detector Electronics is proud to announce our
new Invader™ series of aftermarket accessories for Fisher
metal detectors! The new Sun Ray Invader FZ-1 Target Probe
has been developed to satisfy the pinpointing and retrieval
needs of Fisher CZ users. We have received many requests for
in-line target probes by Fisher brand users for some time
due to the popularity of our quality in-line probes for the
Minelab and White's detectors. Now Fisher owners can enjoy
the same benefits a quality Sun Ray in-line probe has to offer!
Here are some of the features of the FZ-1:
- Fully compatible with all Fisher CZ models (except
CZ-20)! The FZ-1 is precision built to ensure peak performance.
- Accurate "bullseye" pinpointing on coin size
targets up to 3" + deep depending on detector used,
settings, ground and moisture conditions!
- Light weight, waterproof/submersible 9" X 1"
diameter probe mounts nicely along arm rest for easy access.
FZ-1 probe and cable weigh approx. 6 oz. FZ-1 switch box,
connectors, cable and two probe clips, etc. weigh approx.
5oz. - approx. 11 oz total!
- While the FZ-1 probe is waterproof the switch box is
water resistant and must not be submersed. (We use the same
connectors as Fisher.)
- Installation requires no tools or modifications to
the detector. Switch box and probe clips are attached by
removable velcro lined clips.
- The FZ-1 incorporates all of the same functions as
the stock coil including visual and audible target ID along
with identical pinpoint functions! (Above features may vary
from one CZ model to another and depth reading will be off
due to the probe's diameter which is normal.)
- High quality custom made, durable probe and connector
cable used for precision performance. Probe incorporates
a 30" cable with strain relief for "tangle free"
operation.
- Quality high performance toggle switch used for peak
performance! (Minimum 100,000 mechanical life operation-as
described in manufacturer's specs)
- Toggle switch shuts off coil as it turns probe on and
vise versa. Coil and probe are never on at the same time.
- FZ-1 switch box is conveniently mounted on detector
pole attachment in a neutral position (for both right and
left hand users) and to prevent toggle from being accidentally
switched or bumped by user or damaged by tree limbs, brush,
etc. if switch box is brushed or hit during detecting.
- No external buzzers, vibrators or lights are needed
as all target responses are heard clearly through your detector
headphones!
- No extra batteries required as the FZ-1 utilizes the
detectors power source.

The new Sun Ray
Stealth X-5 5.5" coil is waterproof and gives maximum target
separation in extremely high ferrous as well as non-ferrous
trash conditions!
If you ever used the Sun Ray S-5 Intruder coil on your
Sovereign then you know how accurately it separates targets
in trash and gets extreme depth for its size.
The Stealth X-5 uses the Explorer's circuitry to give
even more precise target separation while getting similar
if not more depth than the S-5!
While ground conditions, moisture, type of target, how
long in ground, etc. will play a factor in the results we
can say we are very impressed so far with the X-5's performance.
Even in the hottest ground that it was tested in the X-5
gave accurate target ID and respectable depth with impressive
target separation between non-ferrous and ferrous targets
within very close proximity of each other.

battery compartment.
Very compact, ultra light switch box mounted on bottom of
upper shaft makes for easy switching from coil to probe. Makes
coil changes super fast as coil cable will no longer be inserted
into upper shaft! Partially coiled cable reduces cable sagging
while sweeping coil. X-1 gives operator ALL of the same functions
as stock coil including accurate visual and audible target
ID in both Smartfind & Digital mode, non-motion pinpoint,
etc. Accurate approximate depth indications from tip of probe
to target can be achieved through visual observation of the
Explorer's depth gauge (although the scale will be different).
Scale is explained in X-1 instructions. Accuracy on coin size
targets only. No external buzzers or lights are needed as
all targets are heard clearly through your detector headphones!
